SPEAKER

Whether it is on the subject Black women in higher education, social justice in mental health counseling, MBTI in the workplace, or grief and trauma, my love for the transformational process of teaching compels me to take every opportunity to speak and every topic as an intentional part of that journey towards liberation.

LEARNER & EDUCATOR

As a life-long learner and educator, I am always in the pursuit of knowledge. I earned a B.S. in Organizational Management in 2007, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology in 2010, and I hope to complete a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership by 2024. I am also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor; a certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professional; and a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator © Certified Practitioner.

ADVOCATE

I am a lover of humans and culture! Therefore, at every step of my professional career, I have found a way to advocate for those causes. From organizing a walk for Invisible Children, to developing a girls’ mentoring curriculum, to serving as the director for multicultural student programs, I love through advocacy. Currently, I fuel that joy by donating my time and leadership to the Girl Scouts of South-East Florida as a board member and the American Council on Education Women’s Network of Florida as a regional leader.

WRITER

I started writing at a young age. I wrote dramatic love stories for my friends, eloquent speeches for school clubs and organizations, compelling letters for fundraisers, and lots and lots of papers for my many degrees. Today, I use my writing skills to help my clients communicate their brands. I also conduct scholarly research and writing. You can see some of my published work here:
